Come one, come all!

Don’t miss
Beaverdams Heritage Day 2013!

Rev David Pritchard of Grace United Church, NOTL, will join Rev George Addison in leading the annual outdoor service at Beaverdams Church dressed as a 19th century Methodist circuit rider – just as Rev Egerton Ryerson would have done! Notably, the father of public education in Ontario made the transition from wandering preacher to his first permanent preaching post at the newly erected Beaverdams Church in 1832.

In addition to speaking about church life for those living in Beaverdams and environs at the time, Rev Pritchard will also discuss the phenomenon of Methodist Camp Meetings and lead the gathered in singing Methodist hymns.

Make sure to mark June 2nd at 10.30 a.m. on your calendars, and come witness this exciting
historical re-enactment and commemoration!
